Swim Meet Hydration Hits Different 🏊‍♂️💧

Our story started poolside, watching our founder’s kid grind through the chaos of swim meet days.

After every race, it was the same move:
grab the bottle and CHUG.

That quick hydration hit helped cool down fast, recharge, and bring back energy before the next event.

But between races? Totally different vibe.

Nobody wants to feel super full before jumping back into the pool. Instead of big chugs, it became all about steady sipping — staying hydrated, focused, and ready without feeling weighed down.

That real-life swim meet moment inspired Aguachill’s 2-in-1 lid design.

One side gives you a fast-flow spout for rapid hydration when you need it most. The other side has a built-in straw for easy all-day sipping.

Basically:
big hydration energy when you need it, chill sips when you don’t.

Because hydration isn’t one-size-fits-all — especially on race day.

Straw and spout in one lid? Yeah, we did that.Whether you’re vibing with a slow sip or need to chug and bounce, we get it. No switching. No leaking. Just one lid that does it all.

Swim Meet Hydration Tips

Whether it’s practice, prelims, finals, or an all-day meet, hydration can seriously affect performance, focus, and recovery.

Pre-Event đź’§

Drink about 17oz–24oz (500–700ml) of water around 2–3 hours before racing.

Starting hydrated > trying to catch up later.

During Events 🏊

Sip water or electrolyte drinks between heats.

If you’re competing for long periods, aim for around 5oz–8oz (150–250ml) every 15–20 minutes.

Pro tip:
steady sipping usually works better than panic-chugging an entire bottle at once.

Post-Event ⚡

After racing, your body needs fluids back ASAP.

A good rule:
replace about 1.5 liters of fluid for every 1kg of body weight lost during activity.

Recovery is part of the training too.

Built for Real Life, Not Just the Gym

Aguachill wasn’t created in a boardroom.

It came from real moments:
pool decks, long meet days, chaotic schedules, workouts, road trips, and trying to stay hydrated through all of it.

We design products that adapt to how people actually live.

Because sometimes you need a fast chug.
Sometimes you just need a chill sip.
